Stephen’s Soldiers Foundation Awards Cancer Survivor Scholarships

Congrats to senior Cassandra Vandenberg as the 2016 winner of the Stephen’s Soldiers Cancer Survivors’ Scholarship sponsored by Producers Choice Network (PCN). Cassie plans to attend Wayne State University in the fall after her graduation from Trenton High School. She is a survivor of Wilms tumor, a serious form of childhood kidney cancer. She was diagnosed in 2006 and underwent 6 months of treatment including radiation, surgery and intensive chemotherapy, and is now cancer free. We are so pleased to award her $2500 to help with her college pursuits!
